| Research Abstract |
胎内環境が児の体格、特に体重はどのように変化するのかを明らかにすることを目的とした。463組の母子から得られたデータを基に解析を行った。出生体重と妊娠中の喫煙や飲酒との間に関連性は認められなかったが、臍帯血中PCB濃度との間に負の相関関係が観察された。また、42ヶ月時の体重と臍帯血中PCB濃度に正の相関関係が認められた。従って、胎児期におけるPCBばく露が出生時体重に影響を与え、その後の児の発育に関係することが示唆された。
