Grapefruits aroma was the most effective for releasing fatigue. However it was only effective for healthy subjects but not for chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) patients, who complain severe fatigue. Lavender and peppermint aroma were the most effective for CFS. After smelling odor stimulus except lavender and peppermint aroma, CFS patients showed to increase their subjective fatigue levels.
