Research Abstract

(1)結核感染症に焦点を当てた特殊な細胞評価系を用いたスクリーニングを展開し、新しい機能分子として真菌由来の低分子ペプチド性化合物calpinactamを発見した。
(2)独自に発見してきたイミペネムの抗MRSA活性増強剤stemphone類の標的分子の解析過程において、種々の誘導体合成を展開しstemphone類の構造活性相関を解明した。さらにある種の誘導体が新規活性としてマクロファージ脂肪滴蓄積阻害を有することを見出した。
