Research Abstract |
In pre-modern China, military affairs were generally disregarded, although they played decisive roles to take initiatives in the political situations. This study aimed to analyze how the civil officials put violence under their governance. I therefore focused on the military ceremonials which showed us some ideal types of order of the Imperial China.
