| Research Abstract |
本研究では、1998-2004年、中国の台頭と国内の華人社会の再中国化という状況に直面したインドネシア政府が、どのように対応したのかを明らかにした。この時期、政府内で中国専門家は、軍人から華人資本家へと交代し、その影響で、政府にとっての華人一般の位置づけが変化した。かつて華人は、監視対象か利権に群がる政商と政府にみなされていたが、この時期、インドネシアと中国の両政府の間を取り持つ橋渡し役として積極的に位置づけ直されたのであった。
