Research Abstract	本研究では、障害児者および不登校を経験した若者に焦点をあて、現代における子どもの自立の意味について考察し、以下の三つの視点をえた。第一に、自立を個人の問題としてではなく「他者との関係」においてとらえること、第二に「受動性」ではなく「能動性」によって自立を定義すること、第三に、「学校のはしごを順調にのぼり、就職して自分の家庭をもつ」という典型的なライフコースが自立への近道であるという暗黙の前提をとらえなおす必要があるということである。
