Research Abstract |
We studied high energy phenomena associated with cluster mergers through numerical simulations and X-ray observations. With N-body+(magneto) hydrodynamical simulations, we revealed characteristic magnetic field structures and uncertainty of mass estimation in merging clusters. We obtained upper-limits of nonthermal hard X-ray flux with Suzaku, and constrained lower limits of magnetic field strength. Joint analyses of Suzaku and weak lensing data revealed dynamical status of the systems.
