| Research Abstract |
本研究は、太陽系の化石とも呼べる彗星(始原天体)に含まれる化学組成比を元にして、私たちの太陽系のもととなった物質を探ることを主眼にしている。本研究では多数の破片に分裂したシュバスマン・バハマン第3彗星の観測を元に、もともとの彗星核に内在していた非均質性について議論した。その結果、彗星核は非常に均質であり、原始太陽系円盤内での微惑星の動径方向移動はあまり顕著ではなかったのではないかという結論に達した。また、その他の彗星についても、近赤外線高分散分光観測を多数実施し、その統計的性質に迫った。その結果、従来提案されているような単純な分類では不十分であることを明らかにした。
