| Research Abstract |
軌道(四極子モーメント)は直接磁場とは結今しないため、その軌道(電気四極子)の整列により制限された磁気モーメントが作る反強磁気構造を強磁場パルスESRで観測することを試みた。このとき、反強四極子秩序を示す唯一の絶縁体であるTmTeで間接的に四極子秩序の測定をおこなった。この結果、常磁性状態には、大きな軌道角運動量に起因すると思われる十分幅広い信号が観測され、四極子秩序と思われる転移のような振る舞いも観測された。
