Research Abstract

小繰り返し地震を用い,地震サイクルの物理過程を理解するため,岩手県釜石沖等の繰り返し地震について震源決定,断層サイズ,応力降下量の推定を行った.その結果,釜石沖の地震クラスタでは,断層上の比較的弱いパッチで小地震が発生し,インターサイスミックな期間の,すべり域内で非地震的すべりが明らかになった.また,他の繰り返し地震では,外部からの影響(余効すべり等)により発生間隔だけでなく,規模や破壊過程も変化することも分かった.
