Research Abstract |
付加体形成初期の変形にともなう物性変化を被っている堆積物は,肉眼や顕微鏡下で変形構造が確認されないものの,粒子の配列様式と透水特性が大きく異なることが判明した.変形に伴って物性変化を被った堆積物は,被っていない堆積物に比べ最大25%にまで透水係数が小さくなった.また,物性変化を被った堆積物は,地震発生帯上限付近に対応する封圧80MPa付近において,間隙率が急減することが確認され,その深度領域において間隙水を急激に排出し,周辺の強度低下をもたらしている可能性を示した.
