Research Abstract

将来の光通信ネットワークにおいて必要となる大規模光スイッチの実現に向けて、「フェーズアレイ型半導体光スイッチ」を新たに考案し、1×5光スイッチの設計、試作、および原理検証に初めて成功した。また、デバイス設計とプロセス技術を最適化することにより、1×8光スイッチヘの拡張に成功し、低偏波依存性、広帯域性、高速応答性を実証した。さらに、320Gbps広帯域光パケットスイッチ実験を行い、光ルータヘの適用性を明らかにした。
