Research Abstract |
On this study, I intended to reveal the maintenance management system of the noble village in early modern period, and the social groups that took the main role in the system. I mainly considered it focusing the previous early modern period, and demonstrated the following points. 1. The formation of the noble village from the period of provincial wars to the previous early modern period. 2. The foundation of six gates surrounding the imperial palace and "Somon-no-uchi" the space ideal which set the gates as boundary equipment. 3. The aspects of the security maintenance in "Somon-no-uchi". 4. The formation of "Shurishiki-bugyo" which took the main role in the maintenance of the buildings in the imperial palace, and the site management of the imperial ceremonies.
