| Research Abstract |
Arsインスレーターの作用機構を解明するために、ArsインスレーターにおけるDNA立体構造、クロマチン構造(ヌクレオソーム形成能)、インスレーター活性に必要なコア領域を解析したところ、それらには相関がみられた。したがって、Arsインスレーター中央部分における特殊なDNA立体構造がヌクレオソームの形成を阻害し、それによって生じる開かれたクロマチン構造がArsインスレーターの活性に重要であることが示唆された。
