| Research Abstract |
神経細胞の多様化に関わる膜分子群クラスター型プロトカドヘリン(Pcdh)の転写制御シスエレメントの同定と機能解析を行なった。進化的保存非コード領域を多数見いだし、そのうちSR領域およびHS5-1領域それぞれの欠損マウスを作製・解析した。その結果、Pcdhの発現制御においてSR領域単独での欠損の影響はほとんどないことが明らかとなった。以上により、神経細胞の多様化メカニズムの複雑性の一端を示すことができた。
