Research Abstract |
細胞極性の維持には、蛋白質を各々の細胞膜領域へと運ぶ極性輸送が必須である。今までに作製した様々な極性輸送制御分子のKOマウスのうち、Rab8aKOマウスは小腸上皮細胞のapicalへの輸送に異常が現れ、微絨毛萎縮症との関連も示唆された。本研究では、Rab8aに類似したRab8bの機能の解明のため、Rab8b欠損マウスと、Rab8aとRab8bの両方を欠損するマウスの解析を行った。また、apical輸送におけるRab8aの分子機序解明のため、Rab8aと他のapical輸送関連分子の間での相互作用の検討も行った。
