Research Abstract

APC結合蛋白質として見出したAsefは、各種dominant-negative変異体、及びshRNAを用いた解析によりPC12細胞におけるNGF刺激依存的な神経突起伸長に重要であることを見出した。さらに、蛍光イメージングを用いた解析によりAsefとAPCの細胞膜近傍への集積動態が異なることから、細胞膜近傍に集積したAPCがAsefと複合体を形成し、Asefの活性を制御していることが示唆された。
