| Research Abstract |
カイコ(Bombyx mori)を対象として、生体外異物の解毒代謝に関与する解毒酵素群について研究をすすめている。代表的第二相解毒酵素であるグルタチオン転移酵素(GST)は、生体外異物ならびに内因性の求核化合物に還元グルタチオンを抱合し、体外への排出を促進する。GSTは遺伝子ファミリー(class)を形成しており、複数のアイソザイムが存在することが分かっている。本研究では、基質特異性の異なる5種のカイコGSTアイソザイムを同定した。
