| Research Abstract |
熱・水・炭素循環過程と群落の成長・衰退過程との相互関係を明らかにすることを目的とし、様々な植生において環境応答特性を明らかにするための観測・モデル化の双方を行った。個葉の光合成・蒸散過程をもとにした群落熱・水・炭素循環モデルを改良し、芝地用の群落成長・衰退モデルを開発した。このモデルにより、芝群落の生長・衰退の予測を可能にしたが、森林群落への適用に当たっては植物生長戦略・生物季節の違いを考慮する必要があった。
