Research Abstract	カラマツ心持ち正角生材を高温高圧水蒸気中で乾燥させて平衡に至るまでの捩れの力の経時変化を得た。試作した測定系の荷重出力は試験体の捩り変形と収縮の合計であった。荷重出力は、試験体の乾燥と共に増大し、含水率の安定と共に安定した。これは乾燥による収縮の終了と対応すると考えられた。荷重の最大出力は高温高圧条件の方が高温常圧条件よりも大きかった。ヤング率は高温高圧処理により増大し、色彩は「きわめて著しく異なる」程度に変色した。
