Research Abstract

卵母細胞は転写を活発に行いながら発育し,十分な大きさに達すると転写を停止する.転写の変化とともに核小体も形態を変化させ,最終的にDNAのない緊密な形態となる.顕微操作により卵母細胞からこの核小体を摘出することに成功し,受精後に形成される雌雄両前核の核小体が例外なく母親に由来し,この核小体が受精後すぐの前核形成に必須の因子であることを明らかにした。さらに徹底的な基礎的解析により今まで明らかでなかった卵母細胞核小体タンパク質をいくつか同定した。
