Research Abstract

ヘキサブロモシクロドデカン(HBCDs)やテトラブロモビスフェノールA(TBBPA)は使用量が増大している臭素系難燃剤であるが、環境・生態系汚染の実態は全く把握されていない。本研究では、HBCDsとTBBPAの高感度分析法を開発し、汚染の分布や蓄積特性、経時的推移を解析した。その結果、HBCDs汚染はアジア途上国よりも日本沿岸で顕在化していた。保存試料を用いて過去の汚染を復元したところ、HBCDs汚染は近年急激に深刻化していた。
