| Research Abstract |
生体丸ごとの分子イメージングを可能とするPET(陽電子放射断層画像撮影法)は、化学・生物学・物理学・工学・薬学・医学が連携した学際研究であり、ラットやサルを用いた薬理学評価を経て、最終的には生命科学の究極目標であるヒトの臨床・診断を目的とするものである。PET研究の根幹を成すものは生物活性有機化合物の標識化(PETトレーサー化)であり、有機化学者による効果的な標識反応の開発は急務の課題である。本研究では、これまで不可能とされてきたGABA、アミノ酸、および乳酸の^<18>F-標識PETトレーサー化を目指すこととした。
