| Research Abstract |
本研究では、全長マウスプリオンmPrP(23-231)とプリオンの部分ペプチドHelix2 とHelix3 のアミロイド線維形成条件を確立した。次に、アミロイド線維に結合する芳香族環を含む化合物の探索を行った。しかし現時点では、mPrP(23-231)線維に強く結合する化合物は見つかっていない。また、化合物の結合には線維の形態が関与している可能性が示唆された。芳香族環を複数含む化合物に注目して、今後も引き続き研究を行う必要がある。
