Research Abstract

すべての血液細胞は、骨髄に存在する造血幹細胞、前駆細胞から分化する。その分化は、サイトカインや転写因子などにより、厳密に制御されている。本研究では、未分化な造血前駆細胞に細菌DNAの受容体が発現していることを明らかにした。この受容体を介して、細菌DNAやウイルスを認識することにより、造血前駆細胞からの形質細胞様樹状細胞への分化が誘導されることを明らかにした。
