Research Abstract	気道粘膜におけるIgG輸送がFcRnを介して行われていることを示した。また、喘息モデルマウスに外因性にIgGを投与したところ喘息が軽減することが示された。この効果は特にIgG1型の免疫グロブリンで顕著であったが、FcγレセプターIIBを欠損させたマウスでは効果は認められなかった。これは肺の抗原提示細胞の活性化修飾によるもので、FcγレセプターIIB欠損マウスに野生型マウスの骨髄から誘導した抗原提示細胞を移植することで、野生型マウス同様にIgGの抑制効果を認めたことで証明された。
