Research Abstract

我々はEph /ephrinチロシンキナーゼファミリーに着目し神経膠芽腫浸潤における働きとその臨床像に与える影響を検討した。その結果、EphB2/ephrin-B2シグナルが神経膠芽腫の浸潤能を亢進させ悪性化に寄与していることが明らかになった。さらに、Ephrin-A2がEphAシグナルを介して神経膠芽腫浸潤に抑制的に働き、臨床上有用な予後規定因子になりうることを示した。これらのことからEphA/ephrin-AとEphB/ephrin-Bは神経膠芽腫の浸潤において逆の作用を有し両者のシグナルバランスで浸潤が制御されている可能性が示された。
