Research Abstract

ヒトグリオーマ細胞株におけるp53誘導性のアポトーシスには、p53の15番目と20番目のセリン残基のリン酸化が深く関与しており、両セリン残基のリン酸化が同時に起こった場合には、それだけで十分にp53誘導性のアポトーシスが引き起こされる。その際にはp53標的遺伝子の一つであるFasおよびPUMA遺伝子の転写活性が選択的に上昇し、各々death receptor pathwayとmitochondrial pathwayを経由してp53誘導性のアポトーシスが惹起される。
