| Research Abstract |
加齢性網膜においても、β-アミロイドの蓄積が報告されている。本研究ではβ-アミロイドのが蓄積されるアルツハイマーモデルを用いて検討を行った。また、それと関連して報告のある酸化物質4-hydroxynonenal(4-HNE)の蓄積について検討を行った。その結果、網膜でβ-アミロイド及び4-HNEの蓄積を起こす個体が存在したが、アルツハイマーモデルであれば、必ずこれらの蓄積を起こす訳ではなく、またその頻度も低い事がわかった。更に、4-HNEは加齢よりむしろ酸化ストレスに関与していると考えられた。
