Research Abstract	骨髄間質細胞による眼の網膜再生を検討するため、網膜変性モデル動物への細胞移植を行った。結果として移植細胞の損傷組織への定着は確認できたが、組織の再生には至らなかった。次に骨髄移植モデル動物を作製し、眼組織における骨髄由来細胞を調べたところ、角膜・強膜・ぶどう膜・網膜などに広く分布し、その多くはマクロファージやミクログリアである事が判明した。さらに、それらの細胞は角膜や網膜などの各部位において各々異なる特徴的形態を持つ事が明らかとなった。
