Research Abstract

我々はBRAKの遺伝子発現が確認できない癌細胞を、デシタビン処理するとBRAKの遺伝子発現が回復することを見出した。BRAKのプロモーター領域はメチル化によって不活化しており、ゲフィチニブ処理においても、BRAKの遺伝子発現回復による抗腫瘍効果は期待できない。BRAKのメチル化をマーカー分子として、(1)メチル化を受けていない場合はゲフィチニブ単剤、(2)メチル化を受けている場合はデシタビンとゲフィチニブの多剤併用療法が期待される。
