Research Abstract	通所介護施設を利用する認知症高齢者を対象として、週に2回、3ヶ月間、施設から400-500m離れた公園などにでかける「寄り道散歩」プログラムを実施したところ、自宅での周辺症状の出現頻度が有意に低下した。また、施設においても周辺症状の出現頻度が低下する傾向が認められた。以上のことから通所介護施設において「寄り道散歩」プログラムを実施することにより、自宅および施設において認知症周辺症状を抑える可能性があることが示唆された。
