| Research Abstract |
当研究は、昨今見直しが求められている日本先史社会の生業観について、植物考古学の視点からの再考に役立てるべく、生きた社会の農耕社会データを組織的に収集すべく実施された。パプアニューギニア、バリ島、奄美大島にて、とくに農耕作業と貯蔵施設のあり方に焦点を当てた民族調査を行い、これまでよく認識されていなかった稲作作業の実態やさまざまな貯蔵の形などについて、今後の先史生業研究の発展のために有用なデータを得ることができた。
