Research Abstract	本研究は、森林形成に関与した周辺山間地域の関係構造をネットワークの派生という観点から考察したものである。フィールドワークの結果、森林形成に従事した人びとの繋がりがネットワーク状に幾重にも派生してきたこと、また、インフォーマントのそれぞれの出身地域ごとに行動パターンや意識に差があることが明らかとなった。こうした結果は、異なる性格を持つ山間地域が相互に関係し合いながら、森林環境の形成に寄与したことを示唆するものである。
