Research Abstract

地球の核に相当する数100万気圧での実験を可能にするために集束イオンビーム加工機を利用した技術開発を行った。この技術を用いて核を構成する鉄-軽元素系合金について地球中心圧力を超える373 GPaまでの実験に成功し、極限状態での結晶構造、密度、圧縮率といった物性を測定した。またマントル鉱物間の鉄-マグネシウム元素分配関係について圧力依存性および組成依存性をマントル最下部条件まで明らかにした。
