Research Abstract

血管平滑筋の増殖、肥大は、動脈硬化や血管形成術後再狭窄に深く関与する。血管平滑筋細胞において細胞内Ca濃度上昇は、増殖、肥大シグナル活性化に必須の現象であるが、そのCa増加のactual source は不明であった。我々は、CaチャネルTRPC1 がSTIM1 とともにCa 流入機構として働き、血管平滑筋の増殖、肥大反応を制御していることを明らかにした。
