Research Abstract

離乳開始は哺乳反射が目安とされるが, 口唇口蓋裂児では口蓋裂等による哺乳障害によりその見極めは難しく, 手探りで行っているのが現状である。
そのため, (1) 口唇口蓋裂を有する乳児の哺乳動作を舌圧などで観察し, 舌の運動について明らかにする, (2) 得られた所見から舌圧の観察だけで離乳開始期を判別できる簡便で臨床使用可能なシステムの開発, の2点を研究目的として研究を開始した。
当初の計画通りには計測が行えず、計画を変更して研究を遂行した。一方で, 乳歯列期小児の口腔機能に関する研究論文等の発表を行った。
本研究はシステムとしてほぼ確立しており, 来年度以降も継続して研究を行う予定である。
