| Research Abstract |
病原性を有するレプトスピラ株の一部が、鉄欠乏状態においてヘモグロビンに対する走化性を示すことが明らかとなった。走化性を示すレプトスピラの菌体表層より、ヘモグロビン結合性を示す蛋白質として外膜リポ蛋白質LipL32 を同定した。LipL32 のヘモグロビンへの結合はヘミンの有無に依存せず、また、これまでLipL32 のリガンドと考えられている細胞外マトリクスに対する結合性よりも強いことが明らかとなった。
