Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During FY2020 the research milestones have been achieved and accomplished. Data collections and required field experiments has undertaken for the research such as secondary data sets for water yield and water supply, water quality, meteorological variables measurement, questionnaire/interviews and data collections from organization/government bodies that mainly conducted virtually/online. Preliminary stage of analyzing the obtained data sets and image processing using statistical analysis such as correlation analysis and structural equation modeling have been performed. The main purpose of the analysis is to simulate the changes in rainfall pattern and air temperature by connecting it with the altered hydrological system due to climate change and land cover/use towards the impact onto the water resources and supply. However, some of the research activities depend on the situation with COVID-19. For research findings/results reporting, many publications in peer-reviewed journals were accomplished and were also presented at the international conference. Apart from that, seminar/workshop/training were attended using virtual/online mode such as WEAP Webinar, QUAL2KW water quality modeling and simulation, AMOS/SEM Equation Modeling, advanced training/workshop for remote sensing and GiS, for better advancement of the research field.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
Most of the research plans have been achieved and conducted. Data collections for the secondary data sets were successfully obtained for the research design and background, including to setting up the data/results analyses framework. The data-set analyses and image processing have been perfomed, that mainly to analyze the state of water supply and climate effects on water level from reservoirs and damns. Apart from the scholar that has completed the JSPS Orientation, presented and contributed to Science Dialogue for JSPS, she also has involved in giving 2-times academic lectures at Meiji Gakuin University as Guest Lecturer and 2-times academic lectures at UNU-IAS also as Guest Lecturer. Overall, her research plan direction is on the right track and following the research plan. Publications also have been accomplished, along with conference/workshop/training also attended for better exposures and academic networking for capacity building advancement.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
During FY2021, the scholar expects in the phase of compiling all the research findings, analyzing the results, interpreting and reviewing the results/analyzed datasets, editing, writing and finalizing the research report and finally to submission. This also includes carrying out activity to promote the research results to the public and government stakeholders mainly by the research findings reporting by publication and conference/seminar, and also to provide better information, profiles and database from the research to the relevant local governments, thus to outline a better framework that will assist with their water planning and management sustainability.
