本研究は、溶接継手部の限界CTOD値把握のための試験片作製標準条件の解明と客観的評価手法の提供および正負交番負荷による材料損傷の高精度予測とCTODパラメータを用いた破壊評価法への組み込み方法の構築を目的に、中核技術としてランダムな塑性変形後の結晶粒内損傷分布を定量把握するためのメゾスケール数値モデル開発を行う研究である。
ランダムな塑性変形後の結晶粒内損傷分布を定量把握するためのメゾスケール数値モデル開発は、学術的意義が大きい。研究成果は、ISO標準化などを通じて広く社会へ還元されることが期待される。
