Outline of Final Research Achievements

We have succeeded in compiling portfolios for student teachers of languages. One is Japanese Portfolio for Student Teachers of Languages (2014) and the other is
J-POSTL for Elementary-school Teacher Education (2021). Based upon the principles shown in these publications, we have published a teacher training textbook titled Action-oriented teaching and learning (Sanshyusha, 2017). We have presented a paper Challenges and Prospects of Using Portfolios as s Reflection Toolin Pre-service Techer Education in March, 2023 at RELC internationalconference in Singapore.

ポートフォリオ学習のすすめをしたいと思います。学習過程における学習者個人の技能・考え・興味・関心・成果などの証拠を補完するためのポートフォリオを使った学習のことです。学習の成果である様々な提出物をファイルに入れて記録しながら、学習のプロセスを重視する学習方式である。従来のpaper testの結果だけを評価せず、学習者の成長を総合的に進めていこうとする理念である。
