| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We have made important progress in the project both in content analysis and online survey experiment.
In content analysis, we collected news articles from Japanese and Hebrew newspapers; we finished constructing the pipeline and performed preliminary analysis; we evaluated the accuracy of the quantitative content analysis hiring research assistants.
In online survey experiment, we have agreed on the experiment design and created questions items; we also translated the English questions into both Japanese and Hebrew; we conducted the only survey experiment both in Japan and Israel through a Japanese survey company.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
We were not able to organize workshops because of the travel restrictions but we are closely collaborating with each other over the internet. This allowed us to make good progress in both content analysis and online experiment.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
We will finalize content analysis and survey experiment. Once final results became available, we will start writing two research articles for journal publication based on our extensive literature review.
