Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は,①尿素分解菌に関する検討,②培養試験および強度発現メカニズムに関する検討,③小型円筒容器を用いた室内固化試験,④斜面模型を用いた室内固化試験,の4項目に関する研究を実施した。得られた主な成果の概要は,次のとおりである。
①尿素分解菌に関する検討:国内の各地から採取した地盤材料を用いた物理試験と化学試験を行うと同時に,地盤材料中に生息する尿素分解菌の分離・単離試験を実施した。また,単離した尿素分解菌のウレアーゼ活性に関する温度依存性,pH依存性について調査を行った。その結果,北海道の地盤材料より単離され,ウレアーゼ活性の至適温度が20~25℃付近にあり,その値が10日間持続するLysinibacillus xylanilyticusが最も有望な菌株であることがわかった。
②培養試験および強度発現メカニズムに関する検討:培養試験により,Lysinibacillus xylanilyticusの最適な培養条件を明らかにした。また,培養および固化に必要な材料として,高価な試薬の使用以外に安価な代替品の適用性について検討を実施した結果,代替品の適用が可能であることが示唆された。
③小型円筒容器を用いた室内固化試験:Lysinibacillus xylanilyticusを用いて,炭酸カルシウムの析出条件を変化させた地盤材料の室内固化試験を実施した。また,固化した地盤材料の一軸圧縮強さ(UCS)を針貫入試験で推定したところ,数MPa程度を1カ月程度で達成した。
④斜面模型を用いた室内固化試験:切土法面を想定した斜面模型による室内固化試験を実施し,固化した斜面表層部の炭酸カルシウム含有量や針貫入試験による推定UCSの分布特性を調査した。

令和2年度における研究の目的,実施計画,経費などの策定が適切であったこと,また,期待された研究成果がおおむね順調に得られたこと,さらに,研究代表者に健康上の問題が発生しなかったことなどが,主な理由として考えられる。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

当初計画のとおり,最終年度となる令和3年度は,①小型円筒容器を用いた室内固化試験,②斜面模型を用いた室内固化試験,③現場試験施工とその評価,④提案する技術の有効性評価,の4項目を実施し,本研究課題を終了する。
