Outline of Annual Research Achievements

引き続きコロナの制限はあったが,過去に蓄積したサンプルと,国内数カ所でのサンプリングで得られた試料を基に研究を進めた. 7月にはマイクロCTの追加実験も行い,データの集積が出来た.チャタテムシの頭部形態,胸部形態,交尾器形態のマイクロCTによる解析は順調に進んでおり,チャタテムシの胸部筋肉相,チャタテムシの 雌交尾器の相同性の論文は出版され,準新翅類の胸部形態論文も投稿にまで至っている.ほかにも,チャタテムシの頭部形態,シラミの微細構造の解析,メスがペニスを持つチャタテムシの交尾プロセスの解析などが進行中である. アメリカとの半翅系昆虫のゲノム解析プロジェクトも順調に進んでおり,チャタテムシの大規模ゲノム系統論文と,チャタテムシのミトコンドリアゲノム解析の 論文が,出版に至っている. その他にも,チャタテムシやカメムシ類の化石種の記載と系統解析,チャタテムシ,カメムシ,アザミウマの記載論文,メスがペニスを持つチャタテムシの交尾器の筋肉相の解析など,サブプロジェクトの多くの成果が出版に至っている..本研究課題の核となる成果ではないが,コオロギ類の翅の基部構造の形態と機能に関する論文を出版した.これは,外群のデータを集積する中で得られた研究成果である. 7月にはヘルシンキで開催された国際昆虫学会では,招待講演として講演を行い,チャタテムシの高次系統関係に関する最新の研究成果の発表を行うとともに,研究協力者らと情報交換を行った.

Reason

コロナの制限も緩くなり,マイクロCTの追加実験や国際学会での口頭発表などを行うことが出来た.追加で得られたデータに基づき,半翅系昆虫の高次系統に関する重要な論文を投稿にまで持って行くことが出来た.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

最終年度にあたり,蓄積されたデータの解析と,それらを用いた研究のとりまとめを予定している.
