Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Integrated Stress Response (ISR), a typical metabolic stress response pathway, functions as a defense mechanism in cancer cells. In this study, we focused on the oncogenic signal-mediated regulation mechanisms of the ISR and their roles in tumor growth. As a result, we succeeded in identifying the factors involved in the ISR regulation downstream of oncogenic signals. We further promoted research for a novel therapeutic strategy that can induce synthetic lethality by disrupting the ISR regulation mechanisms.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
