| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
神経芽腫細胞株において、X線照射時のPD-L1発現の詳細を検討した。また、それによる131I-MIBG集積性への影響を確認し、照射に伴う免疫応答の増強と内照射の治療効果増強の可能性が示されたと考える。
臨床において、附属病院先端医療開発センターの研究分担者、核医学診療科稲木研究分担者が中心となって整備した本治療の医師主導治験を実施できた。本課題を臨床に持ち上げるための基盤作りができたと考える。また臨床における定量評価を実施した。前年度まで実施していた成果を国際誌に発表し、当該誌の最優秀論文賞に選出された。また、補足であるが、本治療薬は、本研究課題に繋がる種々の基礎的・臨床的検討の結果が結実し、褐色細胞腫・傍神経節腫に対して承認された。神経芽腫に対しては、公知申請に向かうことになっている。
本課題の潜在的目的の一つに、研究代表者が福島県立医科大学で関与している211At-MABGによるα線治療への成果外挿がある。そのためには、より厳重な放射線管理が求められる。前年から継続して211Atによる放射性医薬品合成時における反応挙動情報を収集した。また、揮発しやすい本核種のハンドリングにおける配慮等々のバックグラウンドの情報をさらに得ることができた。さらに、治療時の画像化のためにハロゲン核種と金属核種の68Gaの同時に目的分子に導入する方法を開発し、試験管内および実験動物で評価したところ、この設計の有用性が示された。
前年度からデータ取りをしていた医療従事者被ばく低減に関わる検討によると、タングステンシールドの使用により大幅に線量低減が可能であった。これを国際誌に発表できた。
