現在までの進捗状況としては,立命館大学における疫学的調査フィールドから500名の被験者を用いて,各種疾病アウトカム,身体活動量,体組成を調査・測定し,日本人のサルコペニア肥満該当者に特有の候補遺伝子多型を網羅的解析によって複数同定するとともに,サルコペニア肥満の遺伝リスクをスコア化した.
