太陽光を活用した畜産環境の完全浄化及び革新的バイオガス変換システムの開拓

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

アンモニア含有畜産廃棄物の持続可能な処理は環境創成学を基盤とする資源循環、再生可能エネルギー・バイオマス利活用など多くの分野に関わる課題であり、本研究は太陽光を活用した持続可能な畜産廃棄物の光触媒浄化及び光メタン発酵システムを開発するための研究基盤を確立することが目的として進めてきた。
2021年度は、前年度確立した最適光照射条件を用いて、高濃度アンモニア態窒素含有実際の畜産廃棄物を基質とした光メタン発酵を連続運転100日間行い、メタン収率と関連ファクターを測定した。また、バイオガス回収した発酵残液は開発した光触媒デバイスを用いて太陽光照射による処理水の環境へ放出する前の光触媒浄化・殺菌効果の評価を行った。一年目から三年までの研究結果を統合し、太陽光を活用した畜産廃棄物からのバイオエネルギー回収、有害物質分解、殺菌処理を同時実施できる持続可能な資源循環システムを構築し、トータルシステムのコストとエネルギー収支の総合評価を行い、低コスト、高効率、簡便な操作による嫌気性消化プロセスの開発を進め、太陽光利用した嫌気性発酵におけるアンモニア阻害の軽減および資源循環とバイオエネルギー回収の実現は可能となった。
この一年間の研究成果は国際誌8報登載、特許出願1件、意匠1件、招待講演1回、国際学会7回、国内学会20回の発表実績を得られた。本業績は、当該分野のみならず、関連する環境、エネルギー、健康といった分野で、その発展に大きく寄与している。
