Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度はまず単一接合のアンドレーエフ束縛状態の分光実験を詳細に行った。その結果、位相制御によって接合の基底状態のパリティを制御できることを実証した。さらに、結合ジョセフソン接合内のアンドレーエフ分子状態に関して、実験で観測されていた超伝導ギャップの消失現象が接合のトポロジカル転移と関係性があるということを見出した。また、結合ジョセフソン接合に関して、電流位相関係のゲート電圧依存性を測定し、異常ジョセフソン効果は二つの接合内の電子密度に依存することを確認した。
加えて超伝導性の2D結晶をWTe2や他の材料のモノレイヤーと積層し、測定することが可能な微細加工システムを開発した。積層の作製後、グローブボックスから希釈冷凍機へと空気にさらされることなく移送できる。さらに、GaAs/InAsコア/シェルナノワイヤーからできたジョセフソン接合での電気輸送測定を行った。これらのナノワイヤーは、巻き付き数に応じてトポロジカル超伝導状態を実現する有望な系として知られている。我々はジョセフソン接合を流れる超伝導電流が細線を貫く磁束に応じた位相変化をする様子を観測した。
また、一次元ジョセフソン接合におけるスピン軌道相互作用の異方性による効果を分析し、アンドレーエフ量子ビットとしての機能性に関する理論的な調査を行った。その結果、半導体の電気制御によるスピン軌道相互作用の調整によって、高忠実度2量子ビットゲートが実現可能なことを見出した。
光制御に関しては、マイクロ波周波数で動く励起子-ポラリトン凝縮体の動的光学格子の実現という主要な成果を達成した。この独創的な手法により、ポラリトンのトポロジカル状態を作り出す非相反的なバンド構造の形成が観測された。これは、フォトニックなトポロジカル状態を作るための非常に簡単な実現手法であり、量子計測標準への応用に加えて、分数トポロジカル状態を作るために応用可能である。
