Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
This year, the primary purpose was to analyze the distribution of land use and land cover (LULC) under the different scenarios. According to the scenario results last year, the future trend relative to urban heat island (UHI) has been discussed in this study. To find the relations and regulations between LULC and UHI, I have examined 126 articles to evaluate scenario simulation for urban development. This review aims at providing a new perspective for spatial urbanization studies. The specific results can be found in Wang, Murayama, and Morimoto (2021). And I also analyzed the impact of landscape on land surface temperature (LST) and estimated urban height and function on LST. The result shows that building height and function are also the key factors to impact the LST distribution. And this research will be presented at the 5th Asian Conference on Geography at Thai Nguyen University, October 2021. In summary, I published three outcomes in international journals (Sustainable Cities and Society, Remote Sensing Applications: Society and Environment, and Asian Geographer). Two of them are published as the first author, and one is the second author. Moreover, I also presented oral and poster presentations at international and domestic academic conferences.
